Why Your Office Wi-Fi Is Slow (And How to Fix It Properly)

← All Articles

Slow Wi-Fi is rarely about the internet package. In most offices we survey, the causes are:

1. Router placement

A single router in the corner cannot cover a full floor. Proper deployment uses site-surveyed access point placement with wired (PoE) backhaul.

2. Old or damaged cabling

Structured cabling with proper UTP or fiber, patch panels and labeling removes the mystery failures that come from ad-hoc wiring.

3. Interference and channel overlap

Neighboring networks on the same channel throttle each other. Professional configuration assigns channels and power levels deliberately.

4. No separation of traffic

CCTV streams, guest devices and office PCs on one flat network slow everything. VLANs and QoS keep critical traffic fast.

Our IT & Network Solution covers survey, design, cabling, Wi-Fi deployment and AMC support. Book a free site survey — we will show you exactly where the bottleneck is.
